my story
I have always been interested in what happens when an idea leaves the imagination and becomes something other people can see, enter, experience or carry with them.
So I make things.
Sometimes that looks like film. Under The Fifteenth Films, I created Agbalumo: The Immigrant’s Story, a documentary series centred on the lives and experiences of immigrants and the stories we carry with us.
Sometimes it looks like a room full of people. Through Pass Me the Time, I create small, structured evenings designed around interaction, playing with conversation, food, curiosity and the little conditions that make strangers become less strange to one another.
I photograph. I film. I write. I design experiences. I notice things, wonder what else they could become, and occasionally become sufficiently bothered by an idea that I have to make it exist.
The medium changes. The impulse doesn't.
Much of what interests me comes back to people: how we remember, how we relate, what we carry, what we reveal, and what happens in the small spaces between us.

I enjoy when humans human.
By The Fifteenth is where I keep the things that come from that curiosity, finished work, experiments, films, gatherings, photographs and whatever I decide needs to exist next.
